Cold plunge, breathwork and mindset
The Fundamentals Workshop is a real opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, experiment with a unique breathing exercise and a guided and safe immersion in ice water. In the workshop, we will learn about thought patterns that motivate us, how to manage stress, reduce pain, and increase energy levels through deliberate activation of the nervous system and the immune system.

In the modern world where everything is made comfortable, we lose much of our physical, mental, and spiritual resilience. Important survival mechanisms are not activated because of that comfort, and they slowly wear out, and with them we too. In the Wim Hof Basics workshop, we will learn and experiment with initiated stress situations such as intermittent oxygen fasting and ice water immersion in order to re-stimulate those physiological processes that allow us to reach our full potential.
Breathing protocol
If there is one thing that will affect our physical and mental health more than anything else throughout our lives, it is our breathing. More than genetics, nutrition, and exercise, breathing has a direct and decisive impact on every aspect of our health.
Although we breathe automatically at every moment of our lives, most of us lack the skill of how to breathe properly, and more importantly - how to utilize efficient breathing to our advantage.
By learning and practicing the unique breathing protocol of the Wim Hof Method, we learn to increase lung volume, balance blood acidity, cleanse toxins, reduce stress, and increase levels of focus and calm.
Exposure to cold in ice water
Proactive and safe exposure to cold by immersion in ice water holds a tremendous range of health benefits. It trains our blood vessels to contract and relax, it reduces inflammation, strengthens the immune system, secretes happy hormones in high percentages, contributes to hormonal balance and improved sleep, helps balance the metabolic system, is effective in burning fat, and generally maintains a healthy and vital body and mind.
Mental commitment
As with everything in life, the intention and commitment behind what we do is crucial. In powerful breathing exercises and cold therapy, this fact is reinforced as we train the resilience muscle to find comfort and stillness in places of extreme discomfort, such as through exposure to ice water and intermittent oxygen fasting. With training and practice and an increasing level of commitment, we learn to deal with the various challenges that life presents us in the same way, and our ability to face them with physical and mental resilience is vastly improved.
